Written evidence into human trafficking published by Parliament

Evidence submitted by the Migrants’ Rights Network and Migrants at Work into human trafficking has been published by the Home Affairs Select Committee.

Current approaches to tackling human trafficking focus on the symptom rather than the cause. Our evidence focused on the root causes of trafficking and how the UK visa sponsorship system enables the exploitation of migrant workers.

MRN has partnered with Migrants at Work to investigate the root of exploitation and inherent issues with sponsorship schemes through our campaign on State-Enabled Modern Slavery.
