Migrants Resource Centre has worked for over 30 years to help migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers overcome the barriers that prevent them from fully participating in British society. In this time, MRC have helped tens of thousands of people secure protection in the UK, regularise their immigration status, learn English, and find work.
Every year, MRN’s ESOL and adult education programmes support hundreds of migrants and refugees to develop their skills and build their futures in the UK. The programmes are delivered by a wide range of highly trained dedicated volunteers. MRC are now seeking an experienced ESOL and Training coordinator to develop our ESOL and Training programme further.
This role will suit a highly motivated and ambitious ESOL teacher with good experience of developing curricula, training programmes, such IT classes and employability workshops, and ability to coordinate volunteer teachers. The candidate will be passionate about working with a diverse group of students as well as a great organiser to ensuring the whole ESOL and Training programme is delivered to the highest quality.
MRC is one of the few organisations in the UK that provides frontline services (such as legal advice and employability support to migrants and refugees) and uses that experience to inform highly respected policy work campaigning for a fair migration system that benefits migrants and British citizens alike.
