None of us are free until all of us are free

Dear supporters,

Amidst multiple genocides, ongoing displacement and global suffering, we enter the new year with a renewed motivation to see a liberated world. We reaffirm our commitment to fighting against all systems of oppression, and we will continue to stand in solidarity with all migrants, including refugees.

We kick off this month’s newsletter by spotlighting our Winter Appeal. Your ongoing support means the world to us, and enables us to make transformative change for the better. Find out more about how can help us continue our work against all systems of oppression below.

We have also been busy with our Words Matter campaign, and created Words Matter video and graphic content for International Migrants Day, to raise awareness of the normalisation of harmful language within the migration advocacy sector.

We also have a lot of news to share for our Hostile Office campaign, including the results of a Freedom of Information request on data sharing, a blog on the recent migration package, and a new research update on deprivation of citizenship. We have also received a lot of media coverage regarding the Rwanda Bill, and our CEO also spoke to Sky News about the impact of 7 day eviction notices.

2024 will undoubtedly bring more struggles, but we are committed to this fight, and we hope you will continue to stand with us.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

In solidarity,
The MRN team
