Over the last few months, life has become harder and harder for migrants. The cost-of-living crisis is hitting homes across the UK this winter and migrants are being hit harder than other communities. We desperately need your help at this time.
We need your support to create strong leaders at the heart of migrant communities to ensure they are getting the support and resources they desperately need – things that so many of us take for granted.
Over the last twelve months, we have been running the Migrants’ Aspiration Programme (MAP). This programme has equipped our 30 MAP fellows, all migrants with lived experience, to become change leaders and empower their communities. This group of individuals has the power to create strong movements for change. But we need your help to keep these communities together.
- £10 will help us distribute our Know Your Rights guide to these migrants leaders so they are better informed and can disseminate to their communities.
- £25 will help the migrant leaders to meet on a regular basis to strengthen their relationships and campaigns.
- £50 will help us to keep the migrant leaders informed through workshops on policy changes that will impact their campaigns to enable them to lead change effectively.
As migratised people, we know that when migrants have the tools to speak truth to power, real change can happen.
