‘Highly skilled’ migrants face deportation over tax mistake

#HomeOfficeAtax  is a new campaign launched by a collective of 400+ migrants who have been refused the right to settle in the UK because of tax discrepancies.

In all cases, the discrepancies have been found to be genuine and honest errors, and are of little material significance.

However the tax discrepancies are being used to judge such individuals as being not of ‘good character’, and in some cases even allude to links of terrorism, onerously labelling them as not conducive to the public good.

Currently, we estimate that there are at least 1,000 individuals affected. If you know of someone in this position, please do contact us at MRN ([email protected]) so that we can put them in touch with a support network.
