“Expensive”, “unworkable”

Expensive and unworkable

We have to stop speaking about the Rwanda Bill using the language of “expensive” or “unworkable”. The Rwanda plan is bad, *not* because it is “expensive” or “unworkable”, but because it is inhumane and immoral.

It’s bad because it’s inhumane, not because it’s “expensive”.
It’s bad because it’s inhumane, not because it’s “unworkable”.
Stop putting a price on migrants’ lives.
Stop putting a price on Black and Brown people’s lives.
Cost is not the issue. Morality is.
Unworkability is not the issue. Inhumanity is.
