Manchester – Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking: Supporting Victims and Reducing Exploitation

Three years on from the implementation of the Modern Slavery Act, human trafficking victims are still falling through gaps in the system and responses to human trafficking remain inconsistent across the country. Despite regional good practice, agencies must step up their efforts to combat modern slavery.

Attend this Westminster Briefing (CPD certified) to receive an up-to-date brief on modern slavery and look at what your organisation can do to develop its strategy to tackle human trafficking.

Delegates will be drawn from all practitioners who have a duty to combating modern slavery including: police forces and police professionals; local authorities; health officials; border officials; HMIC; child protection services, charities and relevant NGOs.
