London – Equal Rights Trust book launch: “Navigating Human Rights Complaints Mechanisms”

The Equal Rights Trust and our partner Ashurst LLP would like to invite you to the launch of our joint publication “Navigating Human Rights Complaints Mechanisms – Rules, tools and resources” on Thursday 19 July 2018 from 6pm.

The publication contains summaries of the complaints mechanisms of the most important international and regional human right bodies and the scope for NGOs to intervene in or assist with individual cases. With a foreword by Sir Nicolas Bratza and “hints and tips” from expert lawyers from a range of human rights NGOs, we very much hope that the publication will become a useful tool and a reference point for all practitioners involved in the enforcement of human rights globally.

The launch will provide us all with an opportunity to come together over a summer drink and discuss some of the challenges we face in defending equality and human rights, and the opportunities for further collaboration. The Equal Rights Trust and Ashurst LLP will also be on hand to discuss our work and the Trust will introduce you to our new five year strategy.

Date Thursday 19 July 2018

Venue Ashurst, Broadwalk House 5 Appold Street London EC2A 2AG
