We currently have two vacancies:

Policy Manager

We are seeking a Policy Manager to take the lead in our policy engagement, who shares our passion for creating a just society for all migrants. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in contributing to national policies that affect migrant communities. You will work on both long-term policy analysis and research, as well as fast-moving reactive work.

This post is an integral role for MRN, and will suit a candidate that has strong experience in working with parliamentarians, as well as someone with a keen motivation for migrant and refugee communities to be involved in the influencing process. They will have a robust understanding of how Parliament works, and how to engage influencers to advocate for change.

The charity is looking for exceptional candidates with a:

  • Commitment to upholding the rights of all migrants 
  • Real vision as to how this can be done in the current political, social and economic climate of the UK
  • Readiness to commit to MRN’s vision and values

The salary will be £35,745 per year, pro-rata. In addition, MRN contributes up to 6% of salary to pensions.

MAP Programme Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated Programme Coordinator to lead the Migration Aspiration Programme to guide and support emerging migrant leaders. 

The successful candidate will have responsibility to manage the delivery of this programme, including facilitating or co-facilitating all live workshops,  developing partnerships, and working closely with the MRN team to make this a programme success.

This role will suit a candidate that has strong experience in working with migrant communities, supporting and managing volunteers, and with excellent project management skills.

The charity is looking for exceptional candidates with a:

  • Zest for managing and developing relationships with volunteers, key partners and stakeholders 
  • Commitment to creating a just society for all migrants
  • Readiness to commit to MRN’s vision and values

The salary will be £30,507 per year, pro-rata. In addition, MRN contributes up to 6% of salary to pensions.

Volunteering

Volunteers have and still play a vital role at MRN. Without them, we would not be able to achieve what we have so far. However, at present, we are not currently taking on any new volunteers due to the pandemic. Please do get in touch in the near future.
